Rubber Products

Custom moulded rubber, rubber bonded to machined metal, industrial rollers, plastic parts and the moulds that produce them.

Full Range

Every Rubber Products Product We Make

Everything in this category starts from a drawing or a sample rather than from a catalogue page. We design the product structure, build the mould in our own workshop, and where the part needs a metal core we machine it and bond the rubber onto it in house.

The Brief

Problems This Line Solves

  • A custom part that no catalogue supplier will make because the volume is too small to interest them
  • Rubber to metal parts split across a machine shop, a coating shop and a moulder, with nobody owning the bond
  • Tooling quoted by a mould maker who will never run the tool and so never sees the moulding problems
  • Rollers specified by covering hardness and material that general rubber shops cannot match
  • Plastic and rubber parts of one assembly bought from different countries on different lead times
Audience

Who Buys From This Line

  • Equipment builders who need a moulded part designed around their assembly rather than the reverse
  • Automotive and vehicle part suppliers buying bushings and anti vibration parts
  • Printing, paper converting and packaging machine makers replacing covered rollers
  • Product companies moving a design from prototype into repeatable tooled production
Capability

Core Advantages

  • Our own structural design team can design the product structure, not only copy a supplied drawing
  • Mould design and mould manufacture happen in our workshop, so tool changes do not restart a supplier chain
  • A machining workshop and a coating workshop let us produce the metal part and bond rubber to it
  • Three plastic production suppliers under our own inquiry, quality control and delivery supervision
  • Roller coverings in EPDM, silicone, polyurethane and SBR to suit the process rather than the shop
In Service

Application Scenarios

  • Anti vibration bushings and shock absorber parts for vehicle suspension
  • Printing, paper feed and twist rollers in converting and printing lines
  • Counterweight and damping blocks moulded in SBR
  • Injection moulded plastic housings and fittings supplied alongside the rubber parts of the same assembly
  • New rubber moulds and O-ring moulds built for a customer to keep or for us to run

Where This Line Is Used

Automotive and Vehicle Parts

Vehicle circuits punish general purpose rubber. Fuel, engine oil, power steering fluid, coolant and brake systems each attack a different weakness, and a seal chosen on price alone usually fails on one of them.

Printing and Paper Converting

In printing and converting the roller covering is a process variable, not a spare part. Hardness, surface and material decide registration, feed reliability and print quality.

Home Appliance and Consumer Products

Appliance and consumer programmes need the rubber part, the plastic part and sometimes the tool itself to arrive together and to a fixed cosmetic standard. Splitting that across vendors is where schedules slip.

Semiconductor and Electronics

In semiconductor and electronics manufacturing the seal is usually not the expensive part, but it decides whether a chamber holds and whether a process stays clean. That is why compound choice dominates the decision.

Answers

Rubber Products Questions

Can you work from a sample instead of a drawing?

Yes. Our structural design team can work from a physical sample, and we will send the drawing back for your approval before any tool is cut.

Do you make the mould yourselves?

Yes. We have our own mould manufacturing workshop and experienced structural design engineers, so mould design and mould manufacture are both in house.

Can you bond rubber onto a metal part?

Yes. We have our own machining workshop and coating workshop, so we can produce the metal part and then mould the rubber onto it.

Who owns the mould after it is paid for?

That is agreed in writing before we start. Tell us whether you want the tool held here for production or shipped to you, and we will quote accordingly.

Do you also supply the plastic parts of the same assembly?

Yes. We work with three plastic production suppliers and handle the inquiry, quality control and delivery supervision so the rubber and plastic parts arrive together.

What do you need from me to quote a custom part?

A drawing or sample photo with overall dimensions, the material or the working conditions, and an annual quantity. That is enough for a first quotation within one working day.

Talk to an Engineer About Rubber Products

Send the drawing, the medium and the quantity. You will get an answer from someone who knows the process, within one working day.
