Rubber Moulds
We have our own mould manufacturing workshop and experienced structural design engineers, so we can independently design and develop rubber moulds rather than pass the work on.

An O-ring mould decides whether every ring coming off it is the same. We have our own mould workshop and can design and manufacture a variety of moulds and tools, including the multi cavity O-ring tooling shown here. The advantage of buying the tool where the production runs is that consistency problems are corrected in the tool instead of argued about.
Only values our own records support appear here. Anything we cannot evidence is left out rather than estimated.
| Tool Type | O-ring and rubber moulds |
|---|---|
| Consistency | Uniform size and quality across every ring produced |
| Temperature Resistance | Withstands high moulding temperatures without deformation |
| Compatibility | Suitable for various rubber and elastomer materials |
| Maintenance | Designed for easy cleaning and minimal upkeep |
| Country of Manufacture | China |
If you only need parts, buy parts. A tool is worth owning when you want control of supply or intend to mould in house.
A shop that never moulds rubber will not anticipate cure, flash and shrinkage behaviour in the cavity design.
For standard sizes we already hold the complete mould set, so a new tool is unnecessary. Ask before commissioning one.

We possess all the moulds for the AS568 O-ring size range, which lets us supply standard parts of the series promptly and without a tooling step.

An O-ring is the cheapest part in most assemblies and the most common cause of a warranty return.

The moulding process decides tooling cost, cycle time and how much detail a part can carry. Choosing it is a commercial decision as much as a technical one.

AS568 is the reason some O-ring quotations come back with no tooling charge and a short lead time, and others do not.
Read the guide →Not if your size is in the AS568 series. We hold the complete mould set for it, and we will tell you that before selling you tooling.
It is designed to suit various rubber and elastomer materials, but tell us which compound you intend to run so shrinkage is allowed for correctly.
It follows from your annual volume. Send the quantity and we will propose a cavity count.
Yes, if agreed in writing before we start.
It is designed for easy cleaning and minimal upkeep, and we supply guidance with the tool.
One working day once we have the size, compound and volume.
Send the size or drawing, the working conditions and the quantity. One working day for a considered reply.
